Skrrol AI ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Skrrol AI platform at www.skrrol.ai ("the service").

We collect different information depending on which service you use:

Studio service:

• No studio data collected: The studio stores all your projects, source media, autosave, change history, and exports only on your device. Skrrol doesn't receive or store studio content.

Generators and account:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile data provided during sign-up via our auth provider (Clerk).
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, generation history, timestamps, and device/browser information automatically collected.
• Payment information: Subscription and payment details securely processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We don't store your full credit card numbers.
• Generated content: Images and videos you create with the generators, along with the prompts and parameters used.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the service
• Processing subscriptions, payments, and AI credit transactions
• Display your generation history in your account
• Improve the service and develop new features
• Communicate important updates, security notices, and support messages
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform. These services may process your data according to their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — Authentication and user management
• Google Gemini (image, Veo) — AI image and video generation
• OpenAI (GPT Image, DALL·E) — AI image generation and editing
• Dodo Payments — Subscription billing and payment processing
• Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure

5. Studio Privacy

All studio data — projects, source media, autosave, change history, thumbnails, waveforms, and exports — are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (OPFS and IndexedDB). This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it and don't collect, load, transfer, back up, or analyze it. You can delete studio data anytime via your browser storage settings or in-app project deletion options.

6. No Studio Analytics

The studio sends no analytics, error tracking, or telemetry to Skrrol servers or third parties. No events containing your projects, media, or studio usage patterns are collected.

7. AI Content & Training

Skrrol doesn't use your generated content or studio projects to train AI models. However, the underlying AI providers for the generators (Google Gemini, OpenAI, and others) may have their own data storage and usage policies. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies to learn how they handle data processed via their APIs.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functionality, including authentication sessions, user preferences, and PWA installation status. In the studio, local storage is used exclusively to store your projects and media on your device. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Data Storage

We retain your account data and generation history while your account is active. Studio data is kept only on your device under your control. When you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data in a reasonable timeframe, except where we must retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes like fraud prevention.

10. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. Studio data is stored locally on your device and doesn't transmit over the internet. However, no internet transmission method is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access personal data we hold about you
• Right to request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to request deletion of your data
• Right to withdraw consent if processing is based on consent
